Equipment

Having the right equipment allows me to approach every shoot differently and capture subjects from a variety of perspectives. My current setup combines two Nikon D500 bodies with professional telephoto lenses, alongside DJI equipment for aerial photography and compact video.

My first lens is the Nikon 70–200mm f/2.8, paired with one of my Nikon D500 bodies. This is one of my most versatile lenses. Its combination of reach and a wide f/2.8 aperture makes it useful for a wide range of photography, including sports, events, aviation and low-light photography. It allows me to isolate subjects from their surroundings while still giving me enough flexibility to work in a variety of situations.

My second lens is the Nikon 200–500mm f/5.6, paired with my other Nikon D500 body. This lens is particularly useful for aviation, wildlife and sports, where getting physically close to the subject isn’t always possible. The 500mm reach allows me to capture detailed images of subjects from much further away, making it a key part of my aviation and long-range photography setup.

For aerial photography and video, I use the DJI Mini 4 Pro. The drone gives me the opportunity to capture locations and subjects from completely different perspectives, adding another dimension to my photography. It’s particularly useful for landscapes, locations, creative projects and aerial video. I always operate within the applicable rules and regulations when flying.

For compact video and behind-the-scenes content, I use the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Its small size makes it easy to carry and use when I want to capture smooth, high-quality video without bringing a full camera setup. It’s particularly useful for documenting shoots, creating social media content, capturing events and producing video alongside my photography.

From photographing aircraft at long distances to capturing fast-paced sports, events, landscapes and aerial perspectives, my equipment gives me the flexibility to work across a wide range of photography and video projects.

I’m always looking to develop my skills, experiment with new equipment and techniques, and find new ways to tell a story through photography.
